Job Description

Responsible for the teaching of assigned courses at assigned times and as well as the other responsibilities inherent in this position. Reports to the Administrative Dean of the George County Center.

Mandatory Qualifications

Mandatory:
(M1) Certificate in Electrical Technology or equivalent.
(M2) Minimum of Associate’s degree.
(M3) Minimum of 5 years’ experience in commercial, residential, & industrial electrical installations & troubleshooting; electrical supplies and applications.
(M4) Proficient with internet and email.
(M5) Strong interpersonal and written skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Desirable:
(D1) Bachelor’s degree.
(D2) Community college and/or high school teaching experience in Electrical Technology.
(D3) Multi-media instructional delivery experience
(D4) Working knowledge of open entry / open exit style of education.
